Every change waits in a developer’s queue.
Change the page in the visual editor and test it against the original, without code.
You ship a change and can’t tell if it helped.
See which version wins, then roll it out to every visitor.
Go beyond dashboards. Discover why visitors struggle, experiment with better experiences, and roll out winning changes without depending on developers.
Watch one of those sessions. The shopper taps the note five times, expecting shipping details that never open.
In the visual editor, move the note under the button and add “ships tomorrow”. No code. A teammate approves it before it goes live.
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant to Cuttl. It reads heatmaps, finds where visitors get stuck and drafts a test. Nothing goes live until you approve.
How the AI connection worksUse Journey Insights to find opportunities and Web Experiments to validate changes, all within one connected platform.
Drop buttons, badges, banners and popups onto a page from a library.
See which parts of a page lead to signups or sales, and what people click first.
Control who sees a test and when, review it before launch, and stop it in one click.
Your assistant can run Journey Insights and build tests, with your approval.
Cuttl is a conversion rate optimisation (CRO) platform with heatmaps, session recordings and A/B testing. It shows where visitors get stuck, helps you test a fix, and shows whether the change improved your conversion rate. All of it runs from one Cuttl Tag.
When Cuttl spots a problem in a heatmap or recording, such as rage clicks on a button, it turns it into a test idea. The idea carries the recordings, the heatmap and how many sessions the problem affects. One click drafts the A/B test, and each variant gets its own heatmaps and recordings, so you can see why the winner won.
With two tools, you find a problem in one, rebuild the context in the other, then match the results up by hand. Cuttl keeps the evidence and the test in the same place, runs on one Cuttl Tag, and comes with one bill.
An impact report shows what a change did to your conversions. When a test finishes or a change ships, Cuttl compares the conversion rate before and after, and tells you plainly whether the change helped, made no clear difference or made things worse.
Log the change instead. Cuttl's before-and-after check compares the page before and after the change against the rest of your site. If there isn't enough data to say whether it worked, Cuttl tells you so.
Bayesian by default, and you can switch to sequential or fixed-horizon tests. You choose the main metric and the smallest effect worth detecting before launch, and guardrails pause any variant that hurts your other metrics.
No. You paste the Cuttl Tag, a short piece of code, into your site's <head>. Heatmaps, recordings and A/B tests all run from it. A tag manager works too, but for A/B tests keep the Cuttl Tag in <head> so visitors never see the original version first.
Cuttl never stores visitors' IP addresses, respects your consent settings before it records anything, and filters the bots and AI agents it detects out of every report.
Only if you connect them. Cuttl has a built-in MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini can answer questions about your visitors and your tests once you give them access.
Cuttl is free up to 5,000 unique visitors a month. Paid plans are priced by monthly unique visitors. At 50,000, Pro is $149 a month and Max is $219, or $119 and $175 a month billed yearly. For more than 450,000, email contact@cuttl.io.
Yes. Heatmaps, recordings and issue detection work from your first visitors. For changes, Cuttl doesn’t need A/B-test traffic: Change Impact compares the pages you changed with the rest of your site before and after, and the pre-test planner tells you when an A/B test would take too long.
The Cuttl Tag fingerprints each page’s layout, headline, subheadings and buttons. When a new version has been seen by enough different visitors, Cuttl logs it as a site update and measures it before and after, with no release process or manual logging needed.
Yes. Heatmaps always use all of your traffic, and you can record a share of sessions while those with frustration, errors, feedback or a conversion are still kept. URLs such as /products/123 are grouped by template, and the API and exports have no row limits.
